YES!   Mark Wahlberg is a hard-core Christian.  Bold and unashamed.   That’s so awesome.  Praise Jesus.  Not many of those in Hollywood.  Most Christians in Hollywood ‘hide in the closet’ afraid to even mention the word Jesus.

Not Wahlberg, he proclaims his love for God on national television.

Mark also says, ” I go to church everyday.”

He’s  a unabashed, unashamed believer… even in Hollywood with the liberal secular progressive Christ-hating mob  surrounding him.  Pray for Mark that he continues to glorify God and that he stays strong in his Christian beliefs.

Christians come out of the closet.  Stand up for Jesus and our faith.  Combat Christophobia.  legalize Jesus.

    During the Academy Awards they showed an excerpt from Mark Walberg’s movie that won an Oscar for Best Movie. The profanity and the taking of our Lords name in vain was so evil, I turned it off. Please dont call this actor a Christian, much less a hard core Christian. Hes a hypocrite that needs to repent.

      Who is perfect? None of us. If Mark says he is a Christian and proclaims his love for God, than thats enough for me. Have you ever ever used profanity? Have you ever sinned? Of coarse you have. We all have. There is NOT one righteous. NOT ONE. I am the chiefest of sinners and I still love Jesus and praise Him.

      God bless.

        Of course all of us have sinned. But he sinned as a choice, the movies he’s in he read the lines and make a choice to say those words it wasn’t just a “slip up” he made that choice. Of course we all sinned and once we accept Jesus we are christains for life. Once you have the love of Christ in you, you would desire do to things that only glorify him. So for doing that on national television is a bold movement, not the works of someone who loves Christ. He though is not a christain, he’s just a cathlioc who thinks that good works can get him into heaven, which is funny because he did such a bold “bad deed” ahahaha

    I really like Mark Wahlberg — he’s one of my favorites. And I enjoyed this interview. I sincerly hope he knows Jesus! But he is a devout Catholic … he never says anything about Jesus. “We’ll know him by his fruits.”

    john 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only son that who so ever believith in him shall not perish but have ever lasting life
    john 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father except through me.
    No one is going to heaven except through Jesus, you can’t get there on your own path, doing good deeds, going to church, or even praying, the only way to be a christian is to accept Jesus as your savior and in doing that dedicating your life to serving him. You can never loose your salvation, mass won’t save you, a priest can’t save you. Only Jesus. If you can’t except Jesus you are going to spend your whole life trying to be perfect when the Bible says that the only way to make yourself clean is through Jesus. Don’t argue with me though read the Bible and find out for yourself. The Bible is 100% truth. Not just a bunch of stories.

    Mark needs to clean up his act. He says he’s a christian but continues to be in filthy movies. He he were truly a christian like he states he would pick his movies a little better than that.

    i have mixed thoughts about mr. walberg. on one hand i like him as an actor, on the other hand some of his movies are quite bad. on one hand i like to give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he didn’t have a say in what the movie script said? maybe he couldn’t read this script before he signed the contract. on the other hand i am also suspicious of anyone in Hollywood who claims to be a Christian. however the whole story of him being in prison and becoming a christian after talking with the priest certainly sounds like a conversion story to me (just to clarify i do not believe that all {or even most} Catholics are Christians [there are several catholic doctrines that are not in line with the bible { such as Mary is sinless and that she intercedes between us and God [1 timothy 2:5 says otherwise], and purgatory [not to mention the crusades and the inquisition.]} however there are good Christians in the catholic church maybe one of these brought mr. walberg to the lord? [i am not saying this to upset anyone or stir up trouble i just wanted everyone to know where i stood]) alright if your still reading this i am sorry for that long diversion, take a deep breath, rub your eyes, maybe have some coffee and get ready for my primary point. the only way to know for sure a person is a true born again christian is to look at their fruits. however most of the people here do not know mister walberg personally therefore it is very hard to know about his fruits. (his fruits could be either hidden or some things that are not fruits can seem like they are fruits.) but we can look in the bible at the parable of the sower. in this parable Jesus describes a person seeding the ground and what happens to this seed (the gospel). some seed falls on fallow (hard) ground and does not take root (this is when the gospel takes no effect) and is attacked by the agents of Satan. next some the seed falls on thorny soil and is choked by these thorns (this illustrates seeds that are neutralized by the world {i don’t want to give up my sin/ i don’t want to lose my popularity etc}. next there is the seed that falls on rocky shallow soil it initially starts to grow but does not have deep roots, so when the sun shines bright it withers and is useless. (this illustrates when a person has an emotional response to the word but when trials come they forsake it.) another long diversion sorry guys, but hey at least this one was a summary of part of the bible right? and here is my conclusion. mr. walberg has obviously taken the gospel as his own but is it merely an emotional response? has mark wallberg taken any serious flak for his Christianity yet? to my knowledge he has not but if he is a true christian he will have to deal with these trials and if he folds and gives up on christianity or compromises to where it is no longer the christianity of the bible then we will know that the seed that was sown has fallen on shallow ground in his case. however if he stays true does not compromise and keeps running the race we will know that this man is truly a christian brother. {ending note if anything i said was out of line please bring it to my attention.}
