God bless Bubba Watson. He is a the new ‘Masters Champion’ and one of the best Golfers in the world — but more importantly he is an unabashed unashamed born-again CHRISTIAN. I wish more Christians were like Bubba.
Christians come out of the closet! Stand up for Jesus. End Christophobia. Legalize Jesus.
During televised MASTERS award ceremony / acceptance speech something bizarre happened. The second he began to praise and honor JESUS – the screen went black with “technical difficulties” – then they cut away to the ESPN studios.
Strange. The WAR ON JESUS rages right in front of our on TV and no one sees it.
How and why did that happen? This is the biggest golf event in the world – there’s no way there going to have any technical problems. They panicked and cut away because they thought he was going to praise and honor Jesus Christ.
It’s the same thing that in NFL when players gather at the 50 yard line after the game to pray and give thanks to Jesus – they constantly cut away and refuse to show it.
Bubba Watson has joined Jeremy Lin and Tim Tebow in a trinity of outstanding Christian athletes.
Bubba Watson won the Masters Golf Tournament on Easter Sunday in Augusta, Georgia and lost no time in showing his gratitude.
“I’d like to first thank Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior,” Watson said after putting on the famed green jacket (you can watch it at 00:50 in the above video).
Since he started on the PGA Tour, Watson has been outspoken about his Christian faith and is famous for testifying through his Tweets. As Fox News pointed out, the order of his description on Twitters says a lot about the golfer:
@bubbawatson: Christian. Husband. Daddy. Pro Golfer. Owner of General Lee 1.
“For me, it’s just showing the Light,” the 33-year-old said in a piece reported inCharisma News: “There’s people who want to put down Christians. I try to tell them Jesus loves you. It’s just a way to be strong in my faith.”
Bubba’s faith was very strong after winning the Masters when he sent out this celebratory tweets telling the world who he believes is his true master:

Bubba Watson tweets his faith, ‘showing the Light’
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association talked with Watson about the God dimension after the man-in-white’s quirky drive and weepy winning moment on Easter Sunday. Watson, after all, gives his Twitter profile
@bubbawatson as “Christian. Husband. Daddy. Pro Golfer. Owner of General Lee 1 (that’s the car from the Dukes of Hazard)
The BGEA story talks about Watson’s evolution as a believer, from finding church in high school to a more serious commitment to Christ in college. The 33-year-old said,
For me, it’s just showing the Light. There’s people who want to put down Christians. I try to tell them Jesus loves you. It’s just a way to be strong in my faith.
Watson is a regular in the PGA Tour’s weekly Bible study, along with Rickie Fowler, Matt Kuchar, Zach Johnson, Jonathan Byrd and Webb Simpson and 16 to 50 others on a given week when the group meets during a tournament, the BGEA story says.
Getting more in the Word and realizing that golf is just an avenue for Jesus to use me to reach as many people as I can.
Perhaps we’ll hear more on this as Watson moves across the talk show circuit this week.

If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. John 15:18
Kind of reminds me of the scene in Left Behind when they start cutting off all Christian broadcasting, citing “Technical Difficulties”.
Stand strong beloved, and count it all as joy when they persecute you. These are the end of days, and blessed are those who endure to the end.
The way they cut him off like that, they can’t fool us that wasn’t any tech difficulties. Kind of like today at school during a free class a my friend and I were talking about Church and the teacher told us to whisper if that’s what we wanted to talk about because another student didn’t want to hear about it….
Matthew 10:32-33
“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my father which is in heaven”.
Trust in Jesus with your whole heart and lean not unto your own understanding. This world and all it’s knowledge is but foolishness before God, the Creator of all. Every single person ever born has failed in their own efforts to please Him. It’s only in the finished work of Jesus that we are saved, that brings peace, true success and the life God intended for you to have. Focus on, put your primary attention on and believe on the perfect work of God on the cross. Become an expert on God’s love for you, not on the things of this world. Retirement on this planet is not your goal, knowing God is! Accept Jesus and the Fathers love for you and then, only then, you’ll have the wisdom to enjoy eternal life now and forever.
